Tripp Rips Sports Stupidity
Everything you hate them to say, but love to hear.

Seems like everyone nowadays is on the Twitter world, and if not, they at least have heard of it.  Tennessee Titans star Running Back Chris Johnson (@ChrisJohnson28 for those of you dedicated Tweeters) is one of the thousands of professional and amateur athletes with Twitter accounts, and in some of the latest news from the NFL, has finally agreed to a new, 4-year, $53 million contract with my hopelessly beloved Titans after holding out for a number of days of Training Camp.  Prior to this, though, he let fly a bit of anger from his Twitter account.

“Can these fake Titan fans STFU on my timeline I don’t have a regular job so don’t compare me to you and I can care less if uthink I’m greedy”

Really, CJ?  Look, speaking from a fan’s standpoint, we all know you’re one of the most talented backs in the league, and we love the hell out of you for that, but you running your mouth like that makes us think twice about how much we really want you around.  As if we need another Pacman Jones.

Just saying.  He wants to be upset with not getting the money he thinks he deserves?  Fine.  Let him hold out until it happens.  Because God knows if we had let one of the few bright spots on a team predicted to finish 6-10 slip through the cracks there would have been hell to pay.  Just keep your mouth shut, and go about your business like a professional.  ‘Course, what’s the fun in that?!

Stay tuned for the wild and wacky comments and events from the sports world.
